We understand that the majority of the parents who play on the equipment do so to ensure the safety of their younger children.  However, a handful of parents are not obeying posted rules and rough housing to the point that they are endangering the children playing around them.

A toddler sized inflatable has been added to the bounce room and is only to be used by children ages 3 and under.  Children ages 2 and over may also use the slide to the left side of the bounce room (if and when it is up) with close parental supervision.  Children ages 3 and under will no longer be allowed on the large inflatable in the middle of the bounce room or in the obstacle to the left of the center inflatable.

Signage has been installed alerting all guests to the restrictions of each piece of equipment in the bounce room. If, at any time, you see the bounce room equipment being used in an inappropriate manner, or a child disregarding posted rules, please approach any Bounce-n-Play staff member and immediate action will be taken.

In an attempt to find a happy medium between those in our community who are thrilled with the new policy changes and those who are distraught, we have designated toddler time on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9:30-12:30 we will have a “Mommy and Me” session (Dads are welcome too ). During this time parents will be allowed on the equipment.

It is inevitable that some in our community will still be unhappy with these changes and to those I ask that you try to understand  the challenges we face in providing a safe, fun, clean place for the children of Charlottesville to play, grow and hopefully learn. We always strive to do the best we can for the largest number in our community and our policies are not made arbitrarily or without a great deal of consideration.
